GLADLY WELCOMING OUR FIRST HUMPBACKS

Since our season started, less than a week ago, we have encountered many interesting whale species in Skjálfandi Bay. Harbour porpoises, white-beaked dolphins, orcas, fin whales and a blue whale were on the list – and this morning we gladly added to it the beloved humpback whales as well.

Our lucky morning passengers got to encounter two humpback whales swimming and feeding together. The guide Miro was really happy to see the so familiar and much appreciated humpbacks again after several months. Captain Halli, who did his first whale watching tour of the season, expressed it as "fantastic to be out on the bay again".
Who knows what tomorrow brings?
