LIVE NEWS: SPERM WHALES NOW IN OUR BAY
Two sperm whales are currently in Skjálfandi Bay and our captain Halli just gave a live report from on board RIB Amma Helga.
He said the first one they found was logging on the surface which made it possible for the passengers to get a very peaceful close-up encounter with this special, and to us very rare, gentle giant.
Another one was found in a different part of the bay and they got to enjoy both of them.
We want to congratulate the lucky guests who got this opportunity. No one knows how long these sperm whales will stay by us – which is also the excitement of whale watching, that every trip is a new adventure.
