JOB APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR 2024
Gentle Giants is very proud of its staff which unites both local and international people of all ages and various backgrounds. Still, there's at least one thing they all have in common: their passion for whales and their job, whether that's on the boats and at sea or on land.
Many of our crew members return year after year and once re-united, work together with the same aim: striving to give our guests the best experience possible and making every season even better than the last – whilst making memories that will stay with us and everyone who has visited us in Húsavík for a lifetime.
In 2023, the "Blue Family" was composed of over 30 enthusiastic staff members from ten different nationalities – maintenance team, ticket sales, captains, guides, assistants and management.
Especially our guides and ticket sales often come seasonally to then venture out into the world during the winter months – or follow the whales to other destinations until returning back here the spring after. You can imagine all the stories told during the summer!
