WHAT ARE THOSE LITTLE BUMPS? 👀

Humpback whales have a particular feature on top of their heads and under the chin that other whales don´t. That feature is little bumps, called tubercules, which can be almost the size of a golf ball.
In these little bumps exist a tiny little hair, like an extra sensory organ, that helps these animals feel vibrations in the underwater world or sense things above their head.
But wait, whales have hair? Yes, they do! They are mammals just like us and one definition of being a mammal is to have hair on their body, we just don't see it.
