ONE MORE MONTH OF WHALE WATCHING ADVENTURES
Tomorrow, the 1st of November, marks the beginning of our final month of whale watching for this season: Once a day, at 10:15 am, we will continue heading out to sea on our GG1 Whale Watching tour on our beautiful oak boat Sylvía, in search of the gentle giants of the ocean.
Are you visiting in November?
November is a wonderful time to head out to sea, even more so of course on a beautiful day. As the days grow noticeably shorter, our tour will soon depart just as the sun rises and return to port as it begins to set.

Can you imagine the beautiful colours in the sky, turning the snowy mountains pink and golden as they reflect on the sea? And then, just a moment later, a humpback whale breaks the surface, its spout illuminated by the soft, low light – completing a perfect winter fairytale!
And the whales?
It seems our beloved whales know that there is something very special about this time of year:
The past few years have proven that October and November are indeed excellent months for whale watching in this area. In fact, just as we have been seeing over the past few weeks, several individual humpback whales spotted in the bay have also been around at this very same time last year!
And then there's Primeiro of course, a familiar visitor who has been returning to our bay for several years now, often making several appearances throughout the season. This year, Primeiro was one of the first whales to show up, and it looks like it might also be one of the last to say goodbye as it continues to make appearances in the bay this autumn.
Scroll down to the photos to see who else is roaming the bay at the moment!
Come and join us to experience this autumn magic for yourself! Book your very own adventure today!
