WILDLIFE TV HOST AND PRODUCER NIGEL MARVEN EXPERIENCES THE GENTLE GIANTS OF SKJÁLFANDI
The host of exciting and educational television series such as “Walking with Dinosaurs” joined researcher/guide Charla onboard a lovely RIB speedboat tour with CEO/Captain Stefan and guide Trina earlier this month. Despite Iceland’s iconic rapidly changing weather, which included sun, rain, wind, and waves, the trip provided incredible views of our favourites: the humpback whales. The whales certainly did not disappoint, displaying several behaviours such lob-tailing and lunge-feeding while busy getting their required 1-1.5 tonnes of food they eat per day!
