A GREAT GATHERING AT MANNAMÓT 2026
Today, the Gentle Giants team took part in Mannamót – Natural Iceland Travel Trade Show in Reykjavík, and once again it proved why Mannamót truly means "a gathering of people".
With around a thousand guests in total, the atmosphere was lively from start to finish. Mannamót continues to be one of the most important annual meet-ups for the Icelandic tourism industry, bringing together tourism companies from around the country with professionals based in the capital region – and increasingly attracting international partners as well.
Gentle Giants was represented by Stefán, Daniel, and Jóhanna, who spent the day catching up with familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones. There was strong interest in our whale watching tours and Flatey Island excursions, and it was especially rewarding to share that Gentle Giants is proudly celebrating 25 years in business this year. The day was filled with good conversations, new connections, and lots of inspiration.
All in all, another really enjoyable and worthwhile Mannamót. We're grateful for the warm reception and excited to see where the new connections from this year's event will lead.
